The Small Business Accounting Essentials Series combines three foundational courses, Professional Bookkeeping, Microsoft Excel Basic, and QuickBooks Online to provide a well-rounded introduction to bookkeeping, spreadsheet management, and accounting software.

You'll begin by learning the fundamentals of bookkeeping, including the accounting cycle, journals, ledgers, bank reconciliations, GST, petty cash, and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). Next, you'll develop essential spreadsheet skills using Microsoft Excel to create, format, calculate, and manage professional worksheets used to organize and analyze business data. Finally, you'll apply your bookkeeping knowledge in QuickBooks Online, where you'll learn to record and categorize transactions, customize invoices, correct errors, and generate essential financial reports using today's leading small-business accounting software.
