ClassGraphic Course Description
Are you a Journeyman Electrician with at least three years of experience looking to advance your career, your value and your income? If so, this course will prepare you to do just that.

The emphasis of this course will be on correct interpretation and application of the Canadian Electrical Code and Alberta Regulations. Regulations of Occupational Health and Safety, Workers Compensation Board, and Apprenticeship and Industry Training will also be addressed. This course is a targeted and necessary program for electricians who wish to write their Master Electrician Exam.
If you’ve been considering taking the next step in your career or feel ready to take on a larger challenge, now is the time.

Outcomes
Upon successful completion of The Master Electrician Program, you will:
  • be prepared to write the Master Electrician Exam.
  • be ready to take on new challenges in your electrical career.
  • have learned valuable skills in the electric field leading to better jobs and a higher salary.
  • obtain a Letter of Recognition.

Prerequisites
Alberta Electrician Certificate of Proficiency.

Please bring the current edition of the Canadian Electrical Code book, Master Electrician Modules, a calculator, and a pencil/pen. The current edition of the Canadian Electrical Code book can be purchased from the bookstore at Lethbridge Polytechnic for $218.50. The Master Electrician Modules can be purchased from the bookstore at Lethbridge Polytechnic for $182.65.
